Safety Compliance Declaration and ChecklistsWith the introduction of the YA Special Regulations 2009 – 2012, Yachting Victoria has prepared safety compliance declarations and checklists for yachts competing in races conducted under Part 1 and Part 2 of the Special Regulations. The checklists for boats competing in Category 3 – 7 races have been revised and only include equipment items which can be readily checked. The checklists are provided only as a guide and should be completed by Owners or Owner’s Representatives with reference to the complete description in the YA Special Regulations 2009 – 2012. Separate declarations and checklists are also provided for boats competing in Categories 3 & 4, 5N & 5 and 6 & 7 races. There is also a declaration and checklist for Off-the-Beach boats. Clubs should note that the OTB declaration requires the signature a person in charge where the boat owner is less than 18 years of age. |
