With a mix of current students, old boys, girls and Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron members, Melbourne High won the Victorian Team Racing Championships 2-0 in the finals from the very competitive Sandringham YC Team.
Racing commenced on an "S" type course in a very pleasant 10-13 knot north-easterly however later in the day a 20-22 knot northerly forced the Race Director to bring the course inside the Brighton YC marina for the finals of the round robin matches
Melbourne High/Blairgowrie Team kept cool in trying conditions and apart from some very nervous keelboat owners everyone enjoyed the strong wind and flat seas.
