Kate Mitchell from SYC reports that on Sunday 13 July the Recreational Boating Group at Sandringham Yacht Club turned their regular meeting into a breakfast meeting in the clubhouse in support of Challenge.

Instead of the usual formalities the group enjoyed an excellent breakfast together and ran a Trivia Competition and raffles.

Over 50 Sandringham members enjoyed the morning so much that there have been requests for a repeat performance. It was felt that the event was good for the members, good for the Club as well as good for Challenge and children with cancer.

Another event the group is planning is a fishing Competition in November where all proceeds will be directed to Challenge
