While we start to rug up warm as the Australian winter starts to hit our high performance sailors have headed to the Northern hemisphere for World Championships and the ISAF Sailing World Cup in the build up to the London Olympics.
Victorian Oli Tweddell along with AST member Brendan Casey are competing at the Falmouth Finn Festival, starting with the UK Finn Nationals followed by the Finn Gold Cup. Current Laser World Champion Tom Slingsby is dealing with some fickle winds in Boltenhagen in Germany in his quest to retain is World title, and Nathan Outteridge is attempting to become the first 49er sailor to win four World titles in the class.
