 The sailing competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games gets underway on Sunday with three classes in action on the waters off Weymouth. The Finn class kicks competition off with a race on the Nothe spectator course before moving offshore for a second race, with the Women’s Match Racing taking over in front of the crowd. The Star class will contest two races on the Weymouth Bay West course.

 

Aussies in action:

Finn – Brendan Casey – Race 1, 12pm – Nothe Course

Finn – Brendan Casey – Race 2, 1.30pm – Weymouth Bay West

Women’s Match Racing – Olivia Price, Nina Curtis, Lucinda Whitty – Race 1 v Finland, 2.30pm – Nothe Course

Women’s Match Racing – Olivia Price, Nina Curtis, Lucinda Whitty – Race 2 v France, 4.30pm – Nothe Course
