The 470 men will hit the water for the first time on Thursday with Australia’s Mathew Belcher and Malcolm Page out to defend Page’s Beijing 2008 gold medal. The 49er, RS:X and Women’s Match Racing classes continue racing with the Finn and Star fleets back in action after a lay day. The Laser and Laser Radial classes have the day off

49er – Nathan Outteridge & Iain Jensen – 2/1 – 10 points – 1st overall

Women’s Match Racing – Olivia Price, Nina Curtis & Lucinda Whitty –1st – wins against SWE and NED

Laser Radial – Krystal Weir – 7/35 – 76 points – 16th overall

RS:X Women – Jessica Crisp – 17/17 – 55 points – 14th overall
