Central Coat Region (Breamlea to Inverloch including the two bays) Draft Boating Coastal Action Plan. Whilst submissions have closed, and are now being considered, Yachting Victoria continues to work with interested clubs on the key issues raised. However to ensure that this vital plan for the future of boating is actually on the State government agenda it is important for all clubs to be talking to their local members and opposition candidates about current inadequacies and the importance of the plan particularly in an election year. Yachting Victorias submission Click Here gives a good explanation of the issues you should be discussing.
Affiliation Fees Review Rule 11. Because Yachting Victoria had received insufficient response from Clubs to the request for information about their membership numbers and fees the previously discussed options for changing Rule 11 could not be evaluated and no proposal could be taken to the half year meeting. The meeting discussed the situation and agreed YV should write to all clubs again about the next steps. This letter will be posted to all Commodores this week and a special meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday June 6 to discuss this further. (Details next month).
Affiliation Fees for 2006/7 For the next season the current rule 11 was agreed by the members meeting with combined YA & YV fees set at $58 for senior members, $32 for a partner, $17.50 for a members junior and $23 for a junior not related to a senior. Details Click Here
